Because this is a club for the enjoyment of all who attend, anyone can ask anyone if they want to play. If you are asked, then accept. If you are already waiting for a table you may decline. Doesn't matter whether the invitation is for "just hitting" or warming up or drills, or a match, Whatever you agree on. This is not a tournament or cutthroat competition.
If all tables are occupied, you may signal you want to play next by putting your paddle down (near the table's middle, on the floor). This is called a challenge. Please do not get in line for one table while occupying another since that affects people who are not playing. When a table's occupants have completed a match, the winner stays, but if one has played twice in a row they will leave the table and the other will play the challenger.
Any number of players may do drills or just hit, instead of match play. However, once that table is challenged all but one should depart within 15 minutes.
Avoid entering the court space of others which extends to the back wall, especially when points are being played. Let others pick up the stray ball.
The club needs your help in setting up and taking down tables. Setup begins at opening time. If you are the last to use your table (look around, ask) please remove the net and carefully fold up the table.
